A shame for Sir Geoffrey
• IT was with much disappointment that I read of Geoffrey Bindman’s acceptance of a knighthood, (Human Rights Lawyer knighted).
I have been full of admiration for his integrity and principles over the years.
To accept an honour from a government and a prime minister with “blood on the hands” and a totally discredited reputation is a great sadness. I hope Bindman continues to speak out against injustice especially when condoned by this government. I fail to see how his title will enhance his principles.
