Be a six-a-side sizzler
FOOTBALL teams from across Camden and Islington are running out of time if they want to sign up for an exciting new six-a-side league at Whittington Park.
The Soccersixes Championships are set to get underway in just three weeks, but teams must have registered by next Thursday if they are going to make the big kick-off.
Backed by Everton midfielder Lee Carsley, there are only a handful of places left in the league, which will be held every Sunday between 5pm-8pm.
As an added bonus, organisers are offering free kits and entry to any teams who sign-up and join in the action.
A series of tough grading games will take place in the opening two weeks, starting on Sunday February 4, to help determine which division’s teams will play in.
Islington Giants were the first team to sign up for the competition, which will see 32 teams split into three divisions.
