Gunners
hope for change of form
ARSENAL will be hoping that its third time lucky on Saturday
when Bolton Wanderers pay their last visit to Highbury.
The Gunners have lost both of their meetings with Bolton this
season without scoring a goal.
But both matches were away at the Reebok Stadium and Arsenal
at home present a much greater threat.
Emmanuel Adebayor opened his account against Birmingham at St
Andrews on Saturday and will want to show the home fans what
he can do, while Thierry Henry will be searching for his 201st
goal in Arsenal colours.
The injury crisis at the back continues with Kerrea Gilbert
and Ashley Cole still doubtful with the back and thigh injuries
that kept them out of the trip to Birmingham.
But it has been 12 years since Bolton won a game at Highbury
and Arsene Wenger should feel a little more confident of extending
that run given the performances of his makeshift back four of
under-21-year-olds on Saturday. |
