Some of us might welcome a new doctor’s surgery
• I’M delighted to see that 87 to 89 Prince of Wales Road in Kentish Town will one day become redundant and a new surgery built in Dalby Street.
For 15 years I’ve bent the ears of local councillors to have a new surgery to no avail, if all those people think I’m a against, then I feel sorry.
For all my life I’ve tried to make the quality of life of the people of this area better, I don’t care what the contractor does so long as he gives us this surgery.
Yes, even to build a temporary road across the acre, as long he gives in writing that he puts back the park to what it was, down to the last blade of grass. Local councillors please note.

• RE: The Prince of Wales Group Practice’s letter of March 1 ‘Surprised at negative reaction to plans’.
If the proposed health centre at Dalby Street gets planning permission for change of use from two restaurants to medical group practice, it is to be hoped that external disability access and the general issue of patient access by vehicle is fully resolved beforehand.
At present, it is crystal clear that the Prince of Wales Group Practice, notwithstanding its antiquity, enjoys immeasurably better external access and doctor parking facilities than that proposed, which is nil.
