Arsenal colleagues’ international face off
ARSENAL striker Julie Fleeting faced off against her club colleagues on Sunday when England took on Scotland at Wycombe.
Fleeting captained Scotland in the 1-0 defeat to an England side that featured four Arsenal players, including Mary Phillip, Kelly Smith, Alex Scott and Lianne Sanderson.
The result came on the back of England’s 6-0 defeat of Russia on Thursday, in which Hampstead School old girl Rachel Yankey and three other Arsenal players found the back of the net. |
