Wilson makes it four out of four
CAMDEN fighter Ian Wilson made it four out of four on Friday
when he won on points against Steve Gethin from Walsall at the
York Hall.
Super-featherweight Wilson, who trains at Times Boxing Club
in Copenhagen Street and lives in Holborn, out-pointed 27-year-old
Gethin 40-36 over four, three minute rounds.
Southpaw Wilson remains unbeaten in his four fight professional
career and is ranked 21 in the British rankings.
The 24-year-old prospect now hopes to make the step up to six
or eight round fights and has a British title in his sights.
By this time next year we hope that he will be challenging
for a British title of some sort, said his trainer, brother
Colin after the fight. |
