Launch enquiry on road closure
• I HAVE written to the Mayor Ken Livingstone to urge him to recommend a full public enquiry into the Dalby Street road closure.
This way, unresolved issues about the sustainability of an alternative access to the sports centre proposed by the developer can be addressed.
I have every belief that Mr Livingstone will do the right thing.
As a fair-minded man, his reputation is widespread.
There is no way that he who is so keen to promote the 2012 Olympics would risk harming the popular Talacre Community Sports Centre.
Others who feel the same might want to write to:
MAYOR KEN LIVINGSTONE,
City Hall,
Queen’s Walk,
London SE1 2AA.
