Walk the talk against phone masts
• ABBIE Keith is right to oppose the phone mast at Bedford House in her letter of 19 April (We are powerless to object to phone mast on this roof).
Last week it was revealed that a mobile phone company have buried a scientific report it commissioned that concluded handsets and masts contributed to cancer and genetic damage. The report argued that recommended limits on radiation exposure should be cut to one thousandth of those
in force.
If Abbie Keith doesn’t use a mobile, then good for her. I will campaign by her side.
However, those who campaign against mobile masts and continue to use handsets, lose all credibility as far as I am concerned.
My advice to campaigners is to walk their talk. How many are prepared to sacrifice their mobiles? CELINE LA FRENIERE
