Dog walker strangled

A SERIAL strangler killed a dog walker from Camden after being dumped, an inquest heard.
Acioli Pariz Junior, of Tolmers Square, Euston, died on Valentine’s Day in the Westminster House Hotel in Victoria.
The 29-year-old Brazilian shared a single room with convicted killer Roderick MacDonald.
Westminster coroner Dr Paul Knapman said Mr Junior died from “asphyxiation and compression to the neck”.
Mr Junior had lived in Camden for two years and worked as a dog-walker and cleaner for wealthy households in Belgravia and Mayfair.
He met Macdonald in a gay sauna in Blackpool, the inquest heard.
MacDonald had a history of attempted murder, and was convicted of strangling his wife in 2005. He was due to stand trial after pleading not guilty.
But the case was closed after he “strangled himself” in Brixton Prison in February using torn bed sheets.
DI Colin Wetherall, Homicide and Serious Crimes Commander for the Met Police, said Mr Junior had tried to end the relationship.
