Hat-trick hero Sean clinches Under-11s B title for Soccerscool
Hunt already on for stars of next season
Camden and Islington Youth League
HAT-TRICK hero Sean Clare scored a timely treble on Friday as Soccerscool (pictured) beat a determined Crown and Manor side to lift the Camden and Islington Youth League Under-11’s ‘B’ title.
Jake Casey opened the scoring for Soccerscool before Clare stole the show with three stunning strikes to give his team a commanding lead.
Crown and Manor threatened a comeback when they scored two goals in quick succession. But Soccerscool captain Angus Grove led by example as he added the finishes touches to a thrilling 5-2 victory.
ELSEWHERE, at Market Road, goals from Alfie Francis and George Yianni saw St Pancras seal the runners-up spot in the Under-10s ‘A’ League with a 2-0 win over Peel.
In the U-10s ‘B’, Isledon Wolves ended their season in style with a 5-0 victory over Regent’s Park. Finighan Salmon hit two, while captain Kye Noel, Nathan Eluemunor and Tony Lysandries were also all on target.
Champions Islington Tufnell Youth brought the curtain down on their victorious season with a 2-1 win over Hampstead in the Under-12s ‘A’ League. Man of the match Marlon Jackson scored his first goal for the club, before hotshot Brain Lyimo netted the winner.
Meanwhile the biggest win of the weekend came in the Under-14s League where Kentish United ran out 11-0 winners against New Orleans Griffins.
