Camden New Journal - LETTERS TO THE EDITOR Published: 10 May 2007
Mind you don’t trip
• “SUMER is icumen in” and I was thinking about visiting a Camden green space.
But, wait! I might not be qualified to take a walk in the park, alone and unsupervised, in the bright sun or on a windy day, so perhaps our fun-loving council can help.
Surely there must be a course that the council provides, that would teach me how to walk in their parks while causing no trouble, especially to themselves?
I saw a person running along a pavement recently and that looked jolly dangerous, too.
Now I understand why swimming pools are being closed and youth centres are not funded.
Camden is a dangerous place and the council wants to save us all.
A safer Camden, that’s the ticket. Let’s have no more unsafe walking in the borough’s parks, let alone unqualified barbecue cooks! LESTER MAY
