Camden New Journal - LETTERS TO THE EDITOR Published: 10 May 2007
Late delivering new post office
• WE would like to express our thanks to Councillors Keith Moffit and Andrew Marshall for their request to Alan Cook of Post Office Ltd to keep the word of various managers over these recent three years, who have written promising to reopen the post office they accidentally “temporarily” closed in 2004.
In spite of being informed several times by residents of shops changing hands on Haverstock Hill, POL have not taken anyaction to secure a new premises for a new sub-post office.
Alan Cook could redeem POL by immediate action because at this moment there is an empty shop at number 211 Haverstock Hill.
If POL is already aware of this fact, as the shop has been empty for three months, but has not taken any action, we would like to know why. GENE ADAMS
