Camden New Journal - LETTERS TO THE EDITOR Published: 10 May 2007
Do it the USA way
• THE British in a local council situation seem less than adequate business administrators (Dalby Street Closure a recipe for disaster, May 3.)
Where I come from, the USA, any deal between a public government office and a private developer involving a long term commitment would be accompanied by a large payment up front to finance such a commitment.
Now Camden officials, get down to business. Cut the cackle and get the money up front to provide the essential traffic wardens for the New Dalby Street. KATHY REID
