Camden New Journal - LETTERS TO THE EDITOR Published: 24 May 2007
Wait for governor
• TWELVE months ago the new political regime in Camden removed a large number of Labour party governors from schools in order to replace them with Lib Dems and Tories.
At Carlton school we are still waiting for a Lib Dem governor.
One was appointed about three months ago but never came to a meeting and resigned.
Governors play a vital role in the running of schools and it is
incumbent on those that nominate them to fulfil their responsibilities. MICK FARRANT
Chair, Carlton School
