Runaway rangers seal glorious double in season's final game
PARK View Rangers wrapped up a great season at Market Road after winning a league and cup double in the Camden and Islington Youth League.
In their final game Park View, who finished 12 points clear at the top of the league, overcame Finsbury Park to clinch the under-14s Challenge Cup.
Shaun Bailey opened the scoring before Adam Rowe added a second from the spot. Finsbury Park pulled a goal back, but their comeback was dashed when Ivan Tihatti hit a third to seal a 3-1 victory.
The win wraps up a double’ double for Rangers, who also won the league and cup last season in the under-13s division.
