Let’s junk the junk
•THIS morning, six pieces of junk mail were delivered by Royal Mail (so the ‘postmark’ on one envelope stated). I expect many other homes in the area received the same envelopes and flyers and, presumably, most people did the same as me –- put the lot in the recycling bag with hardly a second look.
More than 20 billion pieces of junk mail are delivered to our homes each year. I have written to Royal Mail to let them know I do not want this junk mail – and I recommend your readers to do likewise. LSTER MAY
