Frustration of van theft drove me mad
•I HAD my van stolen on Tuesday evening by a gang of youths from Russel Court NCP car park.
It is a very obvious van as it is a Piaggio Ape (three-wheeled scooter/
van).
It has been customised with a coffee machine and is used as a business – my only business.
It is a new business and I would like to send a message to the unthinking idiots who stole it. I work very hard and always have done. You stole what is of no use to you – the contents of my van. You drove without any insurance whatsoever, therefore you put lives at risk.
Message to the parents of these yobs: your children are thieves and potential murderers. Next time they may steal a car for joyriding, a fast car.
Did your child come home covered in hot chocolate on Tuesday night/Wednesday morning? If so, they may have stolen my van.
Also, why are they not at home at this time?
Just to state that I am awaiting cctv footage and will be contacting the police.
Kind message to the person who phoned me on Wednesday at 1220am: thank you so much for advising me that my van was on your street (Seagrave Road, WC1). Had it not been for you, my situation could have been much worse. Thankfully, I can replace what’s missing.
The good samaritan didn’t make himself known to me and your number is not on my phone, but if you read this, thank you very much. NAME AND ADDRESS SUPPLIED
