Ms Dynamite makes it an explosive party
POP star Ms Dynamite was guest of honour at a nursery open day on Friday.
The singer met staff, parents and pupils at the Konstam Centre in Chester Road, Highgate Newtown.
Ms Dynamite – real name Niomi McLean-Daley – grew up in Highgate Newtown and was a pupil at neighbouring Brookfield School.
She said: “The staff at Konstam do an excellent job and it’s great to help them celebrate that.”
Pupils were entertained by clown Charlie Valentino while parents brought in snacks from around the world.
Centre manager Trish Franks said: “We have tailored the day around health education, and showing the sorts of services there are on offer. It has been a good excuse to have a lovely party.”
The open day also publicised the Kentish Town Sure Start programme for under-fives.
