Time is of the essence for swim stars
MEMBERS from Camden Swiss Cottage Swimming Club made a splash on Friday when they unveiled a brand new electronic timing system to help keep track of the club’s top swim stars.
Youngsters from the Camden and Islington based club celebrated the launch of their state of the art scoreboard by taking part in a special end of year gala.
Councillor Chris Knight, who was instrumental in helping the club get the timing system into operation, joined coaches, swimmers and parents from the club as they put the new system to the test for the very first time.
Since moving back into the new pool at Swiss Cottage, the club has continued to go from strength to strength, and boasts more members competing in regular training and competitions than ever before.
