Veteran Lib-Dem councillor Margaret Little
Margaret Little dies,
aged 78
VETERAN Lib-Dem councillor Margaret Little died on Monday following a long illness.
The former councillor (pictured) represented Hampstead ward for 14 years from 1994 until the elections of May 2006, when she stood down due to ill health. She was 78, and had lived in Hampstead since 1947.
Lib-Dem councillor Flick Rea spoke of Ms Little’s dedication to the area and the people she served.
She said: “She was as sharp as a pin, and loved representing Hampstead. She was very proud of that, and would work so hard.”
