Drums ’n’ dance bring carnival rhythms
to school fair

THE carnival came early to London when a primary school hosted a Caribbean-themed fête.
Steel drums, spangly-costumes and jazzy dancers provided the afternoon’s enter­tainment at Holy Trinity and St Silas School, in Hartland Road, Camden Town.
Actress Patricia Potter, of BBC television’s hospital drama Holby City, opened last Saturday’s fair, which raised about £2,000 to pay for school trips.
