Colts’ hotshot footy stars crowned five-a-side champs

A TEAM of hotshot footballers were celebrating this week after being crowned champions in the Talacre Action Group Five-a-Side League.
Talacre Colts boasted an unbeaten run of 18 games as they stormed to glory at the Astroturf pitch in Kentish Town, scoring an incredible 76 goals and conceding just four along the way.
There were added celebrations when team captain Jahed Ahmed, who lives in Rhyl Street, was voted player of the season after leading his side to victory.
The triumphant under-10s team just missed out on a league and cup double when they lost on penalties in the final of the League Cup against Winch Football Club, who are based at the Winchester Project in Swiss Cottage.
