Park a little closer to the kerb, please
• I WAS
waiting for a 253 bus in Camden High Street on July 31.
When the bus arrived it was some distance from the kerb.
Because I walk with the aid of a stick, I find it difficult to get on and off buses.
And, in this instance, I fell onto the floor of this bus.
The people who were waiting at the bus stop were very kind and helped me up.
However, I did notice that the bus driver didn’t even move.
He sat in his chair and remained there.
Would it be possible for the bus drivers to park nearer to the kerb to stop or prevent accidents like this occurring? MARIA SMART
