Tribute to rag-and-bone man is widely appreciated
• IT was very good to turn the page on Thursday and see a totter’s cart filled with flowers (Final farewell to much-loved rag and bone, favourite, Alf Masterson, August 2) and to read the finely fitting words alongside. I am sure that they are well and widely appreciated. THOMAS POPE
