Alice Wilkinson, Imogen Jacques and Tilly Alridge come over all creative at the Talacre Teddy Bear Picnic
If you go down to the woods today...
FINALLY the sun has got its hat on – and so do the toddlers and their teddy bears at Talacre Gardens, Kentish Town. The gang all met on Wednesday to enjoy a teddy bear’s picnic party complete with singing, storytelling and music.
It’s not always easy to keep youngsters entertained during the long school summer holidays – so to help parents keep their children busy, Camden Council has organised a free summer leisure activity that includes fun, games and crafts for children and their favourite toys.
Following on from the success of the first teddy bear picnic party, where 20 children took their furry friends for brunch, the event will now take place every Wednesday until the end September.
The next one is planned for Swiss Cottage park in Avenue Road next week. It will start at 10.30am, is open to all and it doesn’t cost a penny.
All you need to bring is your little ’un, their favourite cuddly companions and a packed lunch.
