Camden New Journal - LETTERS TO THE EDITOR Published:16 August 2007
Taken for pool fools?
• IT is obvious that the assistant director of culture for Camden takes all of us for fools (Fiona Dean’s Changing rooms will offer sport centre a flexible mix, August 9). We are meant to accept Camden’s awful showering and changing arrangements at Kentish Town baths whether we like them or not and just pay up £25.3 million of our taxes for something nobody seems to want.
I want to know who those designers are, and what sport facilities they have done before, either in a listed Victorian or Edwardian building and in London, so that I can see for myself how well their facilities work. So far, I am unimpressed by their stubborn, inept, design and strange ideas. MARTIN SMITH
