Camden New Journal - LETTERS TO THE EDITOR Published: 23 August 2007
Lido users
• I AM a regular lido swimmer.
The refurbishment of the Grafton Road baths is seen by myself and many other cold water swimmers as much anticipated.
It is likely to become their favourite alternative haunt in the autumn and winter months when water at Parliament Hill lido is just too cold.
What swimmers of both sexes want are clearly defined, segregated male and female showers and changing rooms where people can shower and walk in the nude if they so wish, among people of their own sex.
If the architect still doubts the depths of feeling about such matters then he might like to interview the men and the ladies at the lido any morning. WINEFRIDE CERNICK
