Hospital’s restaurant signposting is not of the best
• IT is a great shock to learn that the Whittington Hospital is considering closing the N19 restaurant at weekends. While it may be considered underused, it would be pertinent to comment that is it not well signposted in the hospital.
For example, anybody in the Accident and Emergency unit would have to leave the hospital, walk down Highgate Hill and enter the hospital again on Magdala Avenue.
Is it known that the restaurant is open to all, not merely staff, patients and visitors?
The restaurant has a pleasant courtyard which is a haven of peace and quiet.
The hospital is the centre of the community more than any church or school.
The restaurant is a great social asset and I would encourage all to make use of its facilities. PENRI MORGAN
