Camden New Journal - LETTERS TO THE EDITOR Published: 27 September 2007
A blind eye to violence
• MY son was mugged for his £30 mobile telephone by four youths on bicycles. This happened yards away from a bus stop full of people.
Why have we traded off our morals and decency for ones which give a message of everyone for themself? What does that say about the effectiveness of our criminal justice system?
To those at the bus stop, what values are you handing over to your children when you turn a blind eye? To the parents of the four young muggers, do you realise the consequences of your inaction? Meric Apak
