‘Put Asbo faces on display’
A Conservative councillor has called for people served with anti-social behaviour orders (Asbos) to have their photographs published in estate newsletters.
Councillor Keith Sedgwick told a meeting between police and residents at the Town Hall last Wednesday that he believed photographs should be circulated of those banned from areas of Camden. The Gospel Oak councillor added: “If there is an Asbo preventing someone going into an area then the people from that area should know who they are so they can be policed.”
Lib Dem councillor Ben Rawlings, who is in charge of community safety, and housing chief Chris Naylor, whose brief covers council estates, are expected to publish their report on anti-social behaviour at the end of the year. |
