Snooker club re-opens on cue
SNOOKER players have been invited back to their favourite Camden Town club.
Danny Posner, manager of New Camden snooker club in Delancey Street, stressed that a sign saying it was closed had been posted up only for the summer and that it was not a permanent move.
He said the club would be as busy as ever, with tables full throughout the winter.
Mr Posner, who lives in nearby Arlington Road, Camden Town, said: “It is so hot in the summer that people do not want to play snooker – so I ran it as a private club. The club has not closed down.”
He added that he was ready to sell the club’s lease to a new owner and that a deal was likely to be wrapped up this week.
