Bring some cheer this Xmas with a hamper
IT’S the festive season again and shop shelves are already stacked with mince pies, crackers and turkeys.
But for some, Christmas is a time of hardship and making ends meet. For elderly residents dreading the cold winter and young children living in hope that Santa will bring them even one wish from their lists, the New Journal is here to bring a little light.
Every year we try to raise as much money as possible to bring hampers to as many of our deserving readers as possible.
We’ve already received one anonymous cheque for £200, while another donor has given us £2 – whatever you can afford to give, it all makes a difference for the families, single parents and elderly residents of Camden we hope to bring some Christmas cheer to.
Remember, the more money we collect, the more people we can bring a little light to this Christmas.
