England striker steals the show for Arsenal

Uefa Cup
Semi Final (First Leg)
Brondby 2, Arsenal 2

KELLY Smith scored a vital away brace but will miss a thrilling return match after being red carded 12 minutes from time in Denmark on Saturday.
The England striker stole the show in Brondby but the Gunners will have to manage without her in the return leg this Saturday after she picked up a second yellow.
Smith had put Arsenal ahead in the ninth minute with a well-taken free kick from outside the area.
Maiken Pape levelled for the Danish champions eight minutes later but Smith put Arsenal back in the lead just after the break.
Brondby equalised again through Lene Jensen but neither side could break the deadlock as the clock ticked down.
The Gunners face Brondby on Saturday at Boreham Wood FC in a bid to make their first ever Uefa Cup final. Kick off is 2pm.

London & SE League
Premier Division
Spurs 0, Hendon 0

SHADINE Mars was denied by the crossbar as Spurs were unlucky not to take all the points against Hendon.
Spurs got into their passing game quickly and were a threat down the right with Carly Snell, Claire Singh, Mars and Samrawit Bereket linking well. But despite bright work from Chanel Breen coupled with Mars' blistering pace, Hendon were no pushovers.
Mars looked to have settled matters though with a powerful shot, but the ball bounced off the crossbar and hit the goal line.

Greater London League
Division One
Thurrock & Tilbury 1
Camden Town 1

AN injury hit Town came back from behind to take a late-late point on Sunday. Thurrock took the lead half an hour in and looked to have won the game but skipper Mary Guest led by example.
The captain equalised from Laura Cunliffe's through ball with 30 seconds left on the clock.

Division Two South
Katabella 0, Surbiton 2

TEN-women Kats lost out to a young Surbiton on Sunday despite a fine penalty save from stand-in keeper Rachel Ojelade.
The Surrey side were already 1-0 up when goalkeeper Jenny Berlin was judged to have handled outside the area and sent off.
Ojelade kept Kats in it with a penalty save soon after, but the home team took the points late on to end the Camden-side's three match unbeaten run.

Middlesex Girls League

HAMPSTEAD's under-12s and 14s had to share the spoils as they were both held to draws on Sunday.
Tory Hoffmeister was player of the match for the U-12s as they came back from 2-0 down through goals from Mim Sandler-Chadwick and Hannah McWilliams to draw 2-2 with Watford.
Meanwhile the U-14s drew 7-7 against Parkfield. Manika Goode, Samara Scott and Sophie Fogarty all scored two a piece. Kaelyn Lucas also scored.
The U-13s were victorious however as they beat Hayes Gate 4-1.
Shaunna Magner scored twice while Edie Conneally and Georgia Kinsella were also on target. The U-11's lost out 2-0 to Headstone Manor.

HAMPSTEAD U-13, 14 and 16s are holding trials on November 14 at Cantelowes Sports Pitch in Camden at 4.45pm.
