Ladies’ Euro triumph
Women’s Uefa Cup semi-final
Arsenal 3, Brondby 1

ARSENAL Ladies became the first English team to make it into the final of the Women’s Uefa Cup on Saturday when they beat Brondby at Boreham Wood FC.
Hundreds of fans watched on as goals from Rachel Yankey, Julie Fleeting and Karen Carney sealed a 3-0 victory over the Danish champions, sealing a 5-2 win on aggregatex.
It was third time lucky for the Gunners, who have suffered the heartache of defeats in their two previous semi-final appearances.

Spurs 1, Horley Town 0
A DEPLETED Spurs side took all three points thanks to a late strike from Shadine Mars.
A frustrating match saw Spurs, who were without six first teamers, create chances but fail to bury any.
But with minutes to go, Chanel Breen played a sweet through ball over the top of the Horley defence and Mars coolly slotted beyond the keeper.

Camden Town 3, Hillingdon Boro 4
A SEVEN goal thriller saw Town just miss out on the points on Sunday.
Town were chasing the game from the outset, with Borough 2-0 up after five minutes. The home side pulled back through Susanna Twidale but Borough replied again.
Kath Wickens rounded the keeper for 3-2 and Genia Gulyas lobbed the keeper to level. But Town hearts were broken in injury time when the visitors scored from the edge of the box.
Division Two South
Katabella 1, Kikk United 1
JEN Coupland was on target for Kats as they avoided any repetition of the defeat dealt out by Kikk earlier this season.
Kikk kept the pressure up though, forcing central defender Lindsey Tethal and keeper Anne Schulthess into heroics at the back.
The equaliser came in the second period but Amy Lamont and Franziska John ensured the Camden side took a point.
Middlesex Girls League
HAMPSTEAD under-12s extended their unbeaten run to five games with an 11-0 mauling of Harrow St Mary’s.
Player of the match Natalia Wilk scored an impressive five goals in the first half. Hannah Williams bagged a hat-trick and there were goals from Izzy Yianni, Taylor Bonner and Mim Sandler-Chadwick.
The U-13s won 2-1 away to Ruislip Rangers with Kirsty Graham and Shauna Magner on target.
