Four in court charged with estate murder
FOUR men charged with murdering a man on a West Hampstead estate earlier this year are due to make their first appearance at Central County Court today (Thursday).
The four are accused of being part of a mob who stabbed Timothy Stilwell in June at the Rowley Way estate in Abbey Road.
Mr Stilwell, 49, was taken to the Royal Free Hospital in Hampstead but died hours later from multiple stab wounds. He had been staying with a friend at the estate when he was attacked in the middle of the night.
Stephen Barton, 22, of Freeling House in Soho, was arrested at the time of the killing, but was on bail when he was charged last Tuesday.
The other three accused facing murder charges are Ricky Parett, 18, of Casterbridge Tower in Abbey Road, Scott Robinies, 22, of Conway House in Quex Road, Kilburn, and Sean Allen, 19, of Bedfordshire.
Two other suspects arrested in June are still bailed, and are to return to police next month.
Another man, arrested at the time of Mr Stilwell’s death, was released without charge. |
