Swiss Cottage sweep board

SWIMMERS from Camden Swiss Cottage Masters swept the board over the weekend as they won an incredible 19 medals at the Glasgow International Meet.
The star of the show was Susan Maclean, who swam a series of outstanding pool performances to clinch six individual golds and a silver medal.
Competing in the 30-34 year age category, Maclean won the 200m, 100m and 50m backstroke, the 400m and 200m freestyle and the 100m individual medley, as well as securing silver in the 50m freestyle.
Taking to the pool in the same age division, Chris Hopton showcased his dominance in the freestyle as he won gold in the 400m, 200m, 100m and 50m events.
In the 25-29 year age group, Lucy Mullan continued the club’s impressive medal haul as she won the 400m and 200m individual medley, and the 100m and 50m butterfly.
Also swimming in the 25-29 year age category, team manager Adam Freer won triple silver in the breaststroke as he finished second in the 200m, 100m and 50m events, before going on to win a fourth silver medal in the 50m freestyle.
Despite just missing out on a podium finish, Dan Scheinneman swam well as he set personal best times in the 100m freestyle and the 100m backstroke.
