Emma’s full of praise for ‘discerning audiences’
ACTRESS Emma Thompson told an audience at a special preview screening of her latest film Stranger Than Fiction that she had enjoyed hiding at the back of cinemas and watching the viewers reaction to the quirky
comedy.
Ms Thompson, who lives in West Hampstead, was visiting the Screen on the Hill in Belsize Park on Tuesday night – and said she was happy to see a discerning Hampstead audience laugh at the jokes.
n Ms Thompson is switching on the Christmas tree lights in Hampstead Village today (Thursday).
She will be doing the honours after songs from The Coal Porters, carols from Hampstead Hill School children and music and dance from performers from the Weekend Arts College, based in old Hampstead Town Hall.
The event kicks off at 3.30 by Mirage Boutique in Hampstead High Street. |
