Paul targets crown of Golden Gloves
TALENTED boxer Paul Tupper has his sights set on becoming the king of the ring as he prepares for his quarter-final showdown in the National Golden Gloves Championships.
Competing in the under-36kg weight category, Paul, who lives in Tufnell Park, will be looking to put on a show-stopping performance when he steps between the ropes at the Earlsfield Boxing Club in south west London.
Tupper was unlucky not to record a win in his last outing when he controversially lost on points to west London’s Patrick Corcoran at a special dinner show hosted by St Pancras Boxing Club at the Irish Centre in Camden Square.
The Acland Burghley pupil, who trains at the Times Boxing Club in Islington, will be back in action on Saturday when he turns out at an open show in south London. |
