Wolves snatch unlikely victory
Under 10s B League
THERE were goals galore as FDS hit double figures against Regent’s Park. Malik Smith hit a hat-trick, while Joe Murphy, Sean Callaghan and Denzil Adjei all scored two goals apiece.
Paddy Harrison was also on target as FDS sealed a resounding 10-0 victory. Elsewhere Ryan Salter scored the only goal of the game as Tufnell clinched a 1-0 win over Isledon Wolves.
Under 11s A League
TABLE toppers Peel made it three wins out of three on Monday with a comfortable 2-0 win over Hampstead Tigers.
A first-half penalty from Mahlon Romeo and a strike from Henry Hicks saw Peel take the points.
Under 11s B League
TWO goals from Harvey Clare saw Islington Tufnell Youth come from a goal down to seal a thrilling victory over Highgate Rangers. Charlie Tague also scored for Tufnell, who ran out 3-2 winners.
Courtney Harris-London scored twice as Isledon Wolves came from a goal down to seal an emphatic 3-1 victory over Bridge Rovers. Ahmet Berat was also on target for Wolves.
Under 12s A League
A SINGLE strike from man-of-the-match Bradley Martin saw Hampstead hand Chapel Boys their first defeat of the season on Friday at Market Road.
Meanwhile a last-gasp penalty from Conor Maguire saw Peel salvage a share of the spoils with a
1-1 draw against Bridge Rovers.
Under 12s B League
TITLE-chasers Lyndhurst moved top of the table following their 1-0 win over Paradise Panthers.
A crisp left-footed shot from Joe Hughes was all that separated the sides at the sound of the final whistle as Lyndhurst made it three wins out of three.
The only other game saw Crown and Manor wrap up a 4-0 win over Regents Park.
Under 13s A League
LYNDHURST Eagles put on a spirited team performance as they came from a goal down to beat Bridge Rovers.
A clever free-kick from Connor Trundell levelled matters, before Harry Savsah slotted home from close range to give Eagles a 2-1 win.
Isledon Wolves battled back to secure an unlikely win over Clerkenwell in the game of the weekend.
Despite trailing 3-0 at half time, two goals apiece from Kietel Frankle and Billy Tooey saw Wolves claw their way back to seal a thrilling 4-3 victory. |
