Archer hits the bullseye for top trophies
TOP archer Ben Humphrys will start the New Year ranked second best in the country after winning a silver medal in the British Junior National Championships at the Lilleshall Sports Centre in Shropshire.
The talented 12-year-old, who lives in Highgate, got all 60 of his arrows on target as he scored an incredible 553 out of 600, missing out on gold by just nine points in the under-14s compound bow class.
The William Ellis schoolboy also won gold at the Arrowheads Archery club competition on Saturday. |
