LIANNE SANDERSON netted five goals as Arsenal kicked off their season with impressive away wins over Watford and Liverpool.
The star striker scored a hat-trick on Thursday as the Gunners’ girls ran riot against newly promoted Watford at the County Ground.
Katie Chapman, Karen Carney and Kelly Smith were also all on target as Arsenal ran out 6-2 winners.
Sanderson was back on the score sheet on Sunday when she bagged a brace to help the north Londoners seal a 4-1 win over Liverpool at the Ashley Travel Stadium. Carney wrapped up the win after Jayne Ludlow had earlier opened the scoring.
