Camden New Journal - LETTERS TO THE EDITOR Published: 11 October 2007
Go green
• THANK you for your article (Victorian home is greenest around, October 4). I would like to highlight that Camden Council are proud to have been involved in the conversion of Sarah Harrison’s Victorian house into a green home.
Our environmental health grants team provided £3,000 financial assistance to Ms Harrison, helping with the installation of insulation and solar water heating and financial support towards a water butt.
A few simple changes in your house can save both money and the environment and Camden is very keen to encourage residents to consider ways they can turn their houses into ecologically friendly homes. Our grants policy currently provides up to £3,000 towards the installation of eco-friendly devices.
