Makeover for Royal Free
THE Royal Free Hospital will receive a radical makeover to put an end to the parking chaos that has brought misery to staff and patients.
The Royal Free Hampstead Charitable Trust has pledged £2.5 million to increase the number of parking spaces and revamp the main entrance and accident and emergency entrance of the hospital.
A congestion-easing one-way system and 20 additional parking spaces are two of the proposals that were approved at a planning meeting in May.
The raft of improvements will also include motorbike and bicycle parking areas.
