City workers carve nature reserve out of scrubland

CITY workers are among volunteers who have spent their spare time transforming over­grown scrubland into a wildlife haven.
The Belsize Wood nature reserve will be opened by Camden Mayor Councillor Dawn Somper on Sunday. Volunteers from City consultants KPMG, EHF Energy and University College London helped clear rubbish, create new paths, put up bird boxes and trim back trees.
