Triumphant return for Lee Spartan South Midlands League
Division One
Sun Postal Sports 2
Kentish Town 3
SHARP-SHOOTER Lee Scott hit the headlines for all the right reasons on Saturday when he netted the winner to help Kentish Town earn a thrilling victory away against Sun Postal Sports. It was the 24-year-old striker’s first goal of the season, having missed the start of the campaign after being sentenced to two years in jail for assaulting a police officer during an attempted burglary.
Having served three months of his sentence, Scott was released on the condition that he wears an electronic monitoring tag. On Saturday he was back among the goals, scoring what proved to be the winner with a clinical finish just before the hour mark.
Jonathan Donoghue scored the other two goals.
