Rangers seal their thrilling win in style
PLAYERS from newly formed side Tufnell Park Rangers celebrated landing a brand new strip on Sunday by beating the Groucho Club in their opening fixture in the Group Cup. Sporting a classic green and white striped kit, Tufnell sealed a thrilling 4-3 victory thanks to two goals from leading scorer Nathan Reid, who has now netted eight goals in four games, and strikes from Steve Isbell and Warren Davis.
Sponsored by the Pineapple Pub in Kentish Town, Tufnell are set to take the Camden Musical Associations League by storm after snapping up a number of players from former champions The Steeles, who folded two years ago after unrivaled success in the Camden Sunday League.
