Tape up the letter-box for the dreaded trick or treat
• YOU can call me a killjoy but I do not think the dreaded Halloween trick or treat should be allowed. This is because it can be detrimental to health, particularly among the vulnerable and elderly.
Personally I do not treat, simply because who knows whether that child has an allergy to sweets, nuts or fruit?
I would not like to be responsible for the consequences of my gennerosity, so I simply tape up my letter-box to prevent any nasties coming through.
Also I disagree with celebrations of Guy Fawkes. I think fireworks should be banned from shops – stop selling them. Authorised fireworks displays are better if well organised.
Could fireworks drive animals crazy and maybe contribute to an attack?
Anyway, why do we want to celebrate someone who wanted to blow up the Houses of Parliament? name and adress supplied
