New kit for school teams
BUDDING Wayne Rooneys at St Mary & St Pancras Primary School have no excuses for looking scruffy on the pitch this season, because they will be sporting a brand new kit.
The swish blue and white strips were donated by the teacher recruitment agency Protocol Education, which has worked with the school for more than nine years.
Deputy headteacher Tonnie Simpson said: “We like to promote fitness and well-being among the children and the local community, and decent sports gear is very important. Following the refurbishment of the school in July we have great facilities and equipment, but some of our sportswear was badly in need of replacing. “The children and staff are thrilled with the new kit, which reflects a real understanding of our needs and values by Protocol.”
Protocol spokesman Matthew White said: “We recognised this opportunity to help encourage the children to use the sports facilities the school offers. Our philosophy in working closely with schools like St Mary & St Pancras is in supporting the school community through excellence in supply teacher placement, and also in a grassroots relationship.” |
