Praise from Ofsted
STUDENTS at a Somers Town school have been praised for their confidence and “good attitudes to learning” by inspectors.
Ofsted found that “the quality of care, guidance and support” at South Camden Community School in Charrington Street was also good when they filed their report on the secondary school in October.
The inspectors rated the school’s overall achievement satisfactory but cited key areas, including student’s behaviour and personal development, where standards were high.
The school was also commended for its attendance figures, which have improved significantly in recent years.
Headteacher Rosemary Leeke said: “We are ambitious to ensure South Camden Community School is the best it can be and this report shows we are well on the way. “We look forward to building on our success.” |
