Opposition to cuts in services
• WE wish to express our concern at Camden Council’s proposed “options appraisal” submission to government based on sales, privatisation, cuts and centralisation of services and demand that they withdraw it.
The services the council proposes to cut and privatise include: – community meals; – home care; – housing caretaking; – district housing staff; – Careline; – mobile security patrol; – supported housing for people with learning difficulties.
These services affect the most vulnerable members of the community who are least able to complain for themselves and we urge the council to reconsider. KILN PLACE TENANTS AND RESIDENTS ASSOCIATION, NW5
